Justin Bieber placed 21 songs in Spotify’s Global Top 200 following his performance at Coachella over the weekend, the most ever achieved by an artist after performing at the festival.

In addition, the Canadian singer reached No. 1 on the Global Top Artist list of the same music platform thanks to his catalog surpassing 77 million plays in a single day, according to Spotify data obtained by Variety.

The songs that helped him the most in this rise were ‘Beauty and a Beat’, which was placed at number 3; his single ‘Baby’, which catapulted him to international fame in 2010, and ‘Daisies’, at number 16.

In addition, the plays of his album ‘SWAG’ increased by 80% in the United States so far this week.

Bieber, 32, returned to the big stages over the weekend as the headliner at Coachella with a packed show in which, in addition to performing music from his most recent stage, he took a nostalgic look back at his career since his early days on the internet.

The singer, who had not performed on large stages since his Justice World Tour in 2022, used a computer to apparently interact with the audience who sent him song requests through the YouTube stream.

And in a sort of mass karaoke, Bieber relived snippets of hits from his early days, including ‘Baby’ and ‘Beauty and a Beat’.

Bieber will once again headline Coachella’s main stage this Saturday, reported Agencia EFE.
