Colombian singer Pipe Bueno and Mexican singer Majo Aguilar have joined forces to present a mariachi version of Carlos Vives’ original hit Bailar Contigo.
This release is the first single of the tribute EP that Pipe Bueno dedicates to the renowned Colombian artist.
Fusion of musical cultures
The idea of reinterpreting Bailar Contigo came about when Pipe Bueno contacted Majo Aguilar through Instagram to propose the collaboration.

Although each recorded their parts separately-Pipe Bueno in Colombia and Majo Aguilar in Mexico-their first in-person meeting took place in Jalisco.
This during the filming of the music video, in the middle of agave fields that highlight the Mexican essence of the mariachi.
