Bad Bunny was confirmed Tuesday by Disney and Pixar as part of the cast of ‘Toy Story 5’, where he will voice the character Pizza with Sunglasses.
The ad, shared on Pixar’s Instagram account, shows the character jumping on screen while the Puerto Rican artist’s laughter can be heard.
“With a lighthearted and mysterious style, Pizza with Sunglasses belongs to a small but formidable community of forgotten toys living in an abandoned shed,” read a statement issued by Disney.
The entertainment company also announced Tuesday that British actor Alan Cumming has joined the voice cast with a cameo as Evil Bullseye, the alter ego of Bullseye (Tiro al Blanco in Latin America/Perdigón in Spain) in the new film.
The famous singer intends to continue his movie career now in Toy Story 5.
“Although Woody’s trusty steed can’t yet speak in the world of ‘Toy Story,’ Cumming voices Bullseye during a fun play sequence in the film,” the brief advances.
‘Toy Story 5’ will hit theaters on June 19, seven years after its last installment, and will also feature Tom Hanks as the voice of Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, Tony Hale as Forky, and Greta Lee as the menacing Lilypad.
In this installment, reported Agencia EFE, Woody and Buzz Lightyear will meet again to confront Lilypad, an intelligent tablet that threatens to dominate children’s lives.
