Mariana Borrego, known worldwide as Mariana Bo, is not a conventional DJ.
Trained under the strict tutelage of Russian masters at the Instituto Sinaloense de Cultura (ISIC), the artist confessed that her musical background is purely classical.
“In classical there are a lot of rules, but I discovered the world of electronics where you can be whoever you want,” he related during the interview.
This duality is what led her to be ranked 34th in DJ Mag’s world ranking and to be named by Forbes magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico.
His career is not a matter of luck: he has shared the stage with legends such as David Guetta, Tiësto and Steve Aoki, proving that Latin talent has no borders.

In an honest chat with Jimena Aguilar and Areli Insunza, Mariana revealed the physical and mental challenges of her career.
He recalled a critical episode at Arena Mexico City where, due to extreme exhaustion after a tour of China, he suffered a panic attack minutes before opening the show for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
“I was under the table asking for an IV while people were screaming my name.
In the end, it’s passion that gets you through; you go into a trance and adrenaline becomes your engine,” confessed the “Mexican Queen”.
Innovation and the future: AI and Philharmonic Orchestras
Mariana Bo continues to push the limits.
Currently, she is working on a project that is already sold out: a show where she performs her songs and iconic soundtracks (such as Gladiator or The Lion King) accompanied by a philharmonic orchestra.
In addition, he pronounced himself on the use of Artificial Intelligence in music: “It is a perfect tool to order ideas, but it will never have the essence or the feelings of an artist on stage”.
