The conservative organization founded by activist Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA, announced Thursday that it will run a side show to Bad Bunny’s starring role in the 2026 Super Bowl.
“That’s right, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce the ‘All American Halftime Show,'” they announced on their Instagram page.
The public will choose the music of the event

The message did not advance who the guest artists will be at the 2026 Super Bowl but assures that the event will celebrate “faith, family and freedom.”
In addition, the announcement is accompanied by a form where people can indicate which genres of music they would like to listen to.
Options include pop, Americana, classic rock, country or “anything in English”, among others.
The announcement comes after conservative sectors of the MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) movement voiced their rejection of Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny headlining the halftime show.
It is considered one of the most relevant television events in the United States.
Political tension grows around the Super Bowl
Discontent has reached the point where even officials in Donald Trump’s administration have voiced their opposition.
In addition, they announced that they will take action in response.
A Department of Homeland Security advisor indicated that ICE agents could be sent to the 2026 Super Bowl.
But shortly thereafter, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said there was no tangible plan for such action at this time.
Trump lashes out at Bad Bunny
For his part, Trump said he thought it was “absolutely ridiculous” that Bad Bunny was in charge of the 2026 Super Bowl show and claimed he had never heard of him.
“I don’t know who it is, I don’t know why they do it. It’s crazy. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous,” the president said during his appearance on the ‘Greg Kelly Reports’ program that aired Wednesday night on Newsmax.
Bad Bunny has been critical of Trump’s immigration policies and has openly expressed his political stance on several occasions.
BB prioritized its fans in the face of immigration risk
Prior to accepting the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, the ‘Tití me preguntó’ singer had announced that he avoided performing in the United States during his ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS’ tour to protect his fans from the risk of being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In addition, during his appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ he ironically asked his detractors to learn Spanish so they can understand his show on February 8.
