Since his return to the stage after four years of recovery, Jesús “Chyno” Miranda, former member of the duo Chino & Nacho, has shown visible sequels of his fight against medical complications.
During his recent performance with Gente de Zona in the “Eternos Tour”, his performance generated concern for slow and disconnected movements that triggered alerts among fans and specialized media.
A long awaited but difficult tour for Chyno Miranda

In September 2024, Chyno and Nacho resumed their musical career as a duo with their “Eternos” tour, performing in cities such as Miami, Houston, New York and Orlando.
Cubans Gente de Zona joined as special guests on several dates to add energy and charisma to the show.
While many celebrated his return, there were criticisms about his status on stage.
Media publications such as NTN24 reported that during one of the most recent concerts in the U.S., Chyno was observed away from the performance of part of the repertoire, apparently absent-minded and with slow movements, while Gente de Zona continued performing songs such as “Tú me quemas” without waiting for him.
Sequelae that do not go away: peripheral neuropathy and mental health.

Chyno Miranda has been battling severe sequelae since 2020 after being infected with prolonged COVID-19.
These include a peripheral neuropathy that has affected his mobility and coordination.
He also suffered from meningitis, which resulted in an induced coma that left him hospitalized for weeks.
In an interview with the media, Chyno publicly asked for “understanding, respect and tolerance” towards his person, especially if at some point he repeats words or shows difficulties in speaking or moving.
He has made it clear that he is not yet 100% and his recovery process is still ongoing.
Divided testimonials: support and concern

U.S. audiences and Latino fans showed mixed reactions after the first few performances.
While some admired his bravery for taking the stage in spite of everything, others showed concern:
Comments such as “It doesn’t look good on Chyno” or “Is he missing something?”, “I’m scared because it didn’t look good”, arose in networks.
At the same time, many remembered that simply being back on stage is a huge accomplishment after all they have been through.
Nacho, his partner and friend, also highlighted Chyno’s strength in his recovery and insisted that his vocal talent remains intact, although he pointed out that he is still working on his emotional and physical stability.
Chyno Miranda pudo verse estático, sin bailar, confundido y desorientado mientras Chino y Gente de Zona cantaban, lo que atrajo mucha atención de los fans pero externaron su preocupación
Final perspective: more than a show, it is resilience.
Although Chyno Miranda has set off alarm bells for his behavior at times during his shows, what stands out the most is his decision to face adversity and return to the stage, accompanied by established artists such as Gente de Zona.
His medical evolution continues, and although his stage rhythm has not yet recovered the level of yesteryear, his voice and desire to connect with his audience remain strong.
This chapter – difficult but inspiring – brings a message of hope and empathy, especially for those who understand that healing and the pace of recovery do not always reflect the passion or talent that still beats.
