Kenneth Walker III, running back for the champion Seattle Seahawks, was named the NFL Super Bowl LX Most Valuable Player (MVP) on Sunday.
“It’s a dream come true, because a lot of people play their whole career and never make it this far. So it’s a blessing. I thank Coach McDonald and the team for keeping us together,” the running back said in celebration at the end of the game.
Historic performance

Kenneth Wlker III was vital in the Seahawks 13-29 win over the New England Patriots.
In this game, his 135 yards per carry were transcendental for his team’s offense to dominate the rival defense.
Walker, 25, is the first running back to be named NFL title game MVP since Super Bowl XXXII of the 1997 season.
This is when Terrell Davis won the award with the Denver Broncos, in the game they beat the Green Bay Packers.
“It’s great this feeling because we went through a lot of adversity throughout the season, but we stuck together.”
“That adversity showed who we were as a team. We have a great brotherhood and that led us to the championship,” Kenneth Walker III stressed.
Quarterbacks dominate the MVP

It's a dream come true
Kenneth Walker III
Since Super Bowl I, which was played in 1967, only eight running backs (such as Kenneth Walker III) have finished as MVP of the game for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The position that dominates this designation is quarterback with 33 awards, of which Tom Brady, with five, is the player with the most.
He is followed by Joe Montana and Patrick Mahomes with three awards, and Terry Bradshaw, Eli Manning and Bart Starr with two each.
Receivers, with eight MVPs, are the position with the second most nominations.
Cooper Kupp was the most recent MVP at this position in Super Bowl LVI.
By team, the Dallas Cowboys have had the most MVP awards for their players with seven designations.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots, meanwhile, have six each.
