‘One Battle After Another’ won Best Picture at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday, while ‘Sinners’ and Guillemo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ each won in four categories.
Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor for ‘Marty Supreme’, while Best Actress went to Jessie Buckley for ‘Hamnet’, cementing their position as favorites for this year’s Oscars.
The award for Best Supporting Actress went to Amy Madigan for her role in the horror film ‘Weapons’.

Jacob Elordi (‘Frankenstein’) pulled off a surprise by winning the National Society of Film Critics award in the Best Supporting Actor category over stars such as Benicio del Toro (‘One Battle After Another’).
Guillermo del Toro’s film won three other awards in the production design, costume and makeup categories, while ‘Sinners’, which came with 17 nominations, matched ‘Frankenstein’s four awards for best original screenplay, best young actor (Miles Caton), best cast and best music.
O Agente Secreto’ won in the Best Foreign Film category, making it one of the big favorites at the Oscars, where it is competing for Best Picture, Best Foreign Film and Best Actor (Wagner Moura).

‘The Naked Gun’ was the best comedy of the night, while ‘Train Dreams’ won as the film with the best cinematography.
