Releases of the week: The return of Avatar and Emily In Paris

Avatar 3 and Emily in Paris are the big entertainment releases this week.

Entertainment culture has a must-see date this week with the premiere of the new installment of ‘Avatar’, which hits theaters around the world, but also the premiere of the last part of the series ‘Emily In Paris’.

Avatar: Fire and Ash’ to break records

Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña repeat as Sully and Neytiri in the third installment of ‘Avatar’, in which new characters appear, such as the evil Varang (Oona Chaplin) and in which the Na’vi tribe is once again threatened by humans. First cut of the Oscars in international films

This Tuesday the 16th, the Hollywood Academy announces the shortlists in ten categories, including international films. Fifteen titles will be chosen in each category, from which the five nominees will be selected in January. In the case of foreign films and after the recent nominations at the Golden Globes, titles such as ‘Sirat’ (Spain), ‘The Secret Agent’ (Brazil), ‘Sentimental Value’ (Norway), ‘It Was Just an Accident’ (France) or ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ (Tunisia) are expected to enter, a list that could also include others such as ‘Belén’ (Argentina), ‘No Other Choice’ (South Korea) or ‘Jeunes mères’ (Belgium).

Lily Collins returns as Emily Cooper in the fifth season of this series that exudes glamour and is one of the most popular on Netflix. It will be Thursday when fans will be able to enjoy the ten new episodes, which moves its action to Rome, where Emily is the new head of the office in this city of the Agence Grateau.
