Taylor Swift’s era on stage does not stop. After concluding her monumental “Eras Tour,” the American singer confirmed that the phenomenon will continue in audiovisual format with two unreleased productions for Disney+, extending the legacy of the most successful tour of her career.
The news was revealed Monday on Good Morning America, where it was confirmed that Swift will star in a six-episode docuseries titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The End of an Era.”
This project will offer intimate behind-the-scenes access to her world tour, with never-before-seen footage of concert preparations, rehearsals, international tours and the team that accompanied the artist for more than a year of performances.
The first two episodes of the docuseries will premiere on December 12, 2025 on Disney+, with the remaining episodes coming weekly. The production promises to show Swift’s more human and creative side, documenting how she pulled off a three-and-a-half-hour-plus show that toured five continents and became a global cultural event.
In addition to the docuseries, Taylor Swift will present a new concert film, titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show,” which will include completely different material than her previous film production.
The film was shot in Vancouver, Canada, during the last dates of the tour, and includes for the first time the section dedicated to their acclaimed 2024 album, “The Tortured Poets Department”. This part of the repertoire was incorporated into the tour after the album’s release, becoming an audience favorite.
The project differs from the original film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” (2023), which was filmed from several concerts held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and released prior to the arrival of The Tortured Poets Department. The new version, however, seeks to close the “Eras” cycle with a more complete record of Swift’s artistic and stage evolution.
Taylor Swift and “The Life of a Showgirl”: all-time records in sales

The announcement of the new projects coincides with the overwhelming success of the artist’s twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” released on October 3, 2025. In just one day, the album reached 2.7 million copies sold in the United States, according to data from Luminate, the music industry analytics company that officially tracks sales since 1991.
With this figure, Swift broke her own weekly sales record, surpassing the 2.61 million units she had achieved with “The Tortured Poets Department” in 2024. The new album also marked a milestone in vinyl history, with 1.2 million copies sold in a single day in the United States, surpassing the previous record – also hers – of 859,000 copies in the first week of The Tortured Poets Department.
One of the keys to the commercial success of “The Life of a Showgirl” lies in the multi-platform release strategy and the variety of formats available. Taylor Swift offered the album in multiple exclusive editions for different audiences and collectors.
These include three CD versions distributed by Target, titled “It’s Frightening”, “It’s Rapturous” and “It’s Beautiful”, plus a limited edition vinyl release under the name “The Crowd Is Your King”.
Themed vinyl variants with unique designs and titles were also released, such as “The Tiny Bubble in Champagne Collection”, “The Baby That’s Show Business Collection” and “The Shiny Bug Collection”. The standard format, available in Portofino orange vinyl and cassette, was notable for including a special feature: a vanilla fragrance and notes inspired by stage sweat, a distinctive detail for collectors.
With these new Disney+ projects and the unprecedented success of her latest album, Taylor Swift reaffirms her position as one of the most influential and profitable artists in the history of contemporary music.
Her ability to fuse narrative, aesthetics and emotion at every stage of her career has made the Eras Tour a cultural phenomenon that transcends entertainment. As she closes this chapter with The End of an Era and The Final Show, the singer makes it clear that her story, far from coming to an end, is entering a new era of creativity and global connection.
