Tigres UANL qualified for the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup on Wednesday, despite losing 3-1 away to Seattle Sounders, making good on a 2-0 first leg win in Mexico.
Tigres will face Nashville SC in the semifinals, who defeated Club América in the quarterfinals and Inter Miami in the round of 16. The other semi-final will be contested by Toluca and Los Angeles FC.
Tigres withstand Seattle’s comeback

Seattle came out determined to make a comeback and in the 11th minute, Slovakian Albert Rusnak scored the first for the home side.
Tigres, however, tied the match (1-1) in the 31st minute with a header by Brazilian Joaquim Henrique off a corner kick.
That goal would prove decisive in the tie (3-3).
Tigres advanced to the semifinals thanks to the double value of the away goal, which Concacaf still maintains.
