UEFA sanctioned Czech coach Petr Vlachovský for life for violating the body’s disciplinary regulations after he was investigated for misconduct relating to the secret taping of FC Slovacko players in the locker room.
UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) reported that the decision was taken following an investigation by an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector into the allegations against the former coach of FC Slovacko’s women’s team.

Vlachovský was convicted in May 2025 for videotaping club players in the locker room.
Among them was a 17-year-old minor and received a suspended prison sentence.
In addition to a temporary ban on training in the country, according to Czech media.
Vlachovský violated several articles of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, the body explained in a statement on Tuesday.
As a result, he was disqualified for life from performing any function related to soccer.
In addition, UEFA requested that the sanction be extended worldwide.
And he asked the Czech Republic Football Association to revoke Vlachovský’s coaching license, in case it has not yet been withdrawn.

The case has generated attention because Vlachovský had also coached the Czech Republic’s U-19 women’s national team.
This has rekindled concerns about the protection of female athletes and supervision in women’s soccer.
The FIFPRO soccer players’ union welcomed the sanction.
As well as UEFA’s request to world soccer’s governing body, FIFA, to impose an international ban on the coach.
