Frenchman Victor Wembanyama destroyed the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday with 39 points and 15 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-108 win that gave them a 2-1 lead in the Western semifinals of the NBA playoffs.
Wembanyama signed the best performance of his career in the postseason, surpassing the 35 points scored in the first round against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Relive the legacy of Tim Duncan

The Frenchman, who starred in and won another duel against compatriot Rudy Gobert, became the first Spurs player since Tim Duncan to record a 30-point double-double in the playoffs with the Texans.
Up to 16 of his 39 points came in the fourth period, when the Spurs delivered a decisive blow to the game.
The Frenchman added five blocks to his tally.
The Texans, who lost the first game of this series at home, have once again secured home field advantage.
This thanks to the win at the Target Center.
Wemby was supported by a 17-point De’Aaron Fox.
While Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell contributed 13 apiece (Filed under: Victor Wembanyama destroys Timberwolves).

The Wolves fell despite getting their brightest star, Anthony Edwards, back from a knee problem.
Edwards had 32 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in 40 minutes on the court.
And his Wolves were able to bounce back after a very difficult start, in which they suffered an 18-3 deficit, without being able to complete the comeback.
Gobert lost the duel with Wembanyama and was held to 13 points and seven rebounds for the Wolves, in which Naz Reid scored 18 points and Ayo Dosunmu, 11.
Game 4 of the series will be played this Sunday, again at the Target Center in Minneapolis (Filed under: Victor Wembanyama destroys Timberwolves).
