U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump handed out dozens of candies to children in costume at the White House on Thursday, as part of the pre-Halloween traditions.
Trump, a few hours after his tour of Asia, participated in an event at the presidential residence handing out candy to dozens of children in costume for more than an hour, in front of one of the entrances of the White House that was decorated for the occasion.

“It’s a long line, almost as big as the ballroom,” Trump shouted to the press as he handed out candy.

Among the costumes was a child dressed as a T-Rex, as well as several in soldier costumes, pumpkins, McDonald’s french fries, among others.
Even a child who appeared to be in a Trump costume bumped fists with the president during the activity.

For more than three decades, the White House has been inviting children to tour different areas of the residence and they are greeted by the first lady, who orchestrates a candy giveaway every year, reported Agencia EFE.
