The news was confirmed by his daughter, Jennissa Marrero, through an emotional message published on social networks, where she remembered not only the artist admired by thousands of people, but also the loving father and exceptional human being who marked the life of his family.
“Papi was much more than a great singer and a voice beloved by the public; he was an extraordinary human being, a loving father, grandfather, family member and unforgettable friend,” Jennissa wrote in her publication.
He also thanked the countless expressions of affection, support and prayers received after the death of the interpreter.
“His legacy will live forever in his music, in his history and in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing and admiring him,” he said.

His talent began to stand out when he won an amateur contest at the Teatro Carmen in Bayamón. From that moment on, he began an artistic journey that led him to join groups such as Trio Los Tempest and various Puerto Rican musical ensembles, until he consolidated his position as one of the most beloved voices of the genre.
