The bombshell news that Jimena brought to the table is the confirmation of a legendary halftime show for the 2026 World Cup final.
For the first time in history, FIFA will go for a massive format – much like the Super Bowl – with a trident that looks like something out of a dream: Shakira, Madonna and BTS.
“It will be the first time that a show of this magnitude will be experienced in the most important game on the planet,” Jimena commented.
The host stressed that this “Last Dance” will not only be for the artists, but also for soccer legends such as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who will see their definitive farewell to the soccer fields in 2026.
200 million for Canelo Alvarez?
But the gossip did not stay in the stadium.
In the boxing world, Jimena Aguilar reported on the “brutal offer” that controversial youtuber Jake Paul threw to Canelo Alvarez.
According to a leaked call, Paul would have offered the Mexican $200 million to step into the ring.
“Easy money,” the American told the tapatío.
The question is: Will Canelo accept this million-dollar challenge?
Maternity, longevity and the “B-side”.
Beyond the impactful headlines, the podcast struck a chord.
Accompanied by Areli Insunza, Jimena opened the debate on “functional medicine” and the possibility of living “two lives in one”.
Both reflected on how women in their 50s today enjoy a vitality and health that was previously unthinkable.
In addition, in a moment of total honesty, they talked about the “B side” of motherhood, inviting QuéOnnda’s audience to stop romanticizing the process and talk about what no one tells you: the fatigue, the expenses and the silence that mothers often keep.
Jimena Aguilar the World Cup Podcast
The episode also served to warn soccer fans about FIFA’s new rules for the upcoming World Cup, such as the strict 10-second rule for leaving the field for substitutions, or the 5-second limit for throw-ins.
And in the entertainment red note, Jimena reported the hefty $25 million lawsuit against Ramon Ayala and his son for alleged misconduct in Texas.
The episode is now available on all audio platforms, such as Apple Podcast and Spotify, where you can also listen to other titles promoted by QuéOnnda and Nueva Network, such as El Diva Show.
What about you Onnda, do you think Shakira, Madonna and BTS will surpass the Super Bowl? Should Canelo accept the 200 million from Jake Paul?
